My wife and I had a short tour with Nimal. Nimal picked us up from Colombo airport on time and helped us exchange money and dropped us off at our Colombo Hotel. On the next morning he took us to the Elephant orphanage, spice gardens and dropped us off our hotel in Kandy.

On the next day we toured the tooth relic temple, waterfalls and tea factory near Nuwara Eliya. On the following day he dropped us off at our Hotel in Galle where we stayed for 5 nights.

Nimal explained important facts and history of all the areas we drove past. Nimal was always helpful when trying to catch the best pictures and would always try to make our holiday the best experience ever.

We loved Nimal’s company and found him a joy to be around. My wife and I had a truly amazing tour with Nimal and cannot wait to come back to Sri Lanka to see more. We whole heartily recommend Nimal for your tour of Sri Lanka which is truly a beautiful island.

My husband and I, along with our two-year-old son, spent 4 weeks travelling around Sri Lanka with Nimal as our driver and guide. But Nimal was so much more than that - he was also a companion and a guardian throughout our trip. By the end of the 4 weeks he and our son were best buddies. We even met Nimal's wife and daughter on our final night in Colombo.

Sri Lankans can be crazy drivers, but no matter how busy or manic the roads, Nimal's excellent driving and cool temperament meant that the journey was always stress-free. We travelled 2500km over the month and always felt safe with him behind the wheel. Nimal never once used a map - he knows the country like the back of his hand. He struck a great balance of allowing us total freedom to choose our destinations, while also offering us insight and suggestions on places we might otherwise have missed.

It would take me days to tell you about the highlights, so I will pick just a few: the vibrant beach culture of Arugum Bay; the scenic train journey from Ella through the hill country (Nimal drove our luggage for us and met us in Nuwara Eliya); elephant spotting near Sigiriya; whale watching off the picturesque coast of Uppaveli; the fascinating ruins of Anuradhapura...

We would wholeheartedly recommend Nimal to anyone planning a trip to Sri Lanka - your holiday will be ricer for it.

Traumhafte Rundreise durch Sri Lanka

Für unsere Hochzeitsreise sollte es dieses Jahr etwas besonderes sein - und das wurde es! Auf einer 12- tägigen Tour hat uns Nimal alles Sehenswürdigkeiten gezeigt und uns Sri Lanka ein großes Stück näher gebracht. Von der Hauptstadt Colombo über Sigiriya, die Höhlentempel von Dambulla, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Bentota und Galle. Es war eine traumhafte Reise, die wir nur jedem weiterempfehlen können! Vor Allem hatten wir mit Nimal einen kompetenten und sehr zuvorkommenden Guide, der uns alles erklären konnte und die schönsten Plätze der Insel kennt. Besonders toll war auch, dass in Sri Lanka neben englisch ganz viele Leute deutsch sprechen und alle sehr sehr freundlich sind. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! Anfang August waren mein Freund Andi und ich auf einer 10 tägigen Rundreise in Sri Lanka. Ohne unseren Fahrer Nimal wäre diese Reise nur halb so spektakulär geworden. Er zeigte uns die schönsten Sehenswürdigkeiten und tollsten Plätze an die sich teilweise auch nur wenige Touristen verirren. Ganz ohne Navi brachte er uns bei den teilweise sehr chaotischen Straßenverhältnissen immer sicher und entspannt an unsere Ziel. Auch außerplanmäßige von uns gewünschte Aktivitäten setzte Nimal immer bestmöglich und super um! Wenn wir Sri Lanka noch einmal besuchen dann nur mit Nimal! Vielen Dank für diese tolle Reise!
